This order shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, City Engineer,
Project Engineer, and Contractor. All copies forwarded to Contractor for signature shall be returned to
The City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Contractor's copy will be returned
to him as his authority to proceed with the work.
Description of Work
Remove existing soundwall at 8266 Gaunt Avenue, grade and backfill new soundwall per attached Letter No. 188 and
Change Order Request No. 102.
All requirements of the original Contract Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by
this Change Order. The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this Change Order.

Additional Soundwall Replacement
The diagonal portion of the existing soundwall at 8266 Gaunt Avenue is to be
removed and replaced as shown on the attached drawing. The new soundwall will be
paid under Bid Item 107. Removal of the existing soundwall, grading and
restoration work will be paid at force account.
Please provide notification prior to demolition so that this work can be coordinated
with the property owners. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to
