RE: STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
PLAN REVIEW, STRATEGIC PLANNING & SCHEDULE DEVELOPMENT
GILROY, CA
Dear Teresa,
Thank you for the opportunity to submit our proposal to provide Engineering Services for the above
referenced project. Our proposal is based on our project meeting Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
During our meeting we discussed the current state of the city's storm water management plan, the
basics of what needs to be completed, and a rough of magnitude schedule to deliver services to
assist the city in completing the effort. Based on our discussion and a phased approach to delivering
services, we propose to provide the following scope of services:
PHASE 1 ENGINEERING SERVICES
$10,200
♦ Review the existing Gilroy storm water management plan documents and website
information, development standards, related city ordinances, county initiatives and Regional
Water Quality Control Board permits.
♦ Develop a list of new initiatives such as a revised storm water management plan, update
website information, staff training, revised development requirements, revised standard
details and standard specifications.
♦ Develop a preliminary schedule of implementation and deliverables, as well as a prioritized
list of items for completion in future phases of service.
♦ Conduct a bi- weekly progress meeting with City of Gilroy Engineering staff.
♦ Prepare letter report describing the above items and provide example deliverables where
appropriate to illustrate options.
♦ We expect this first phase will start on or about October 22, 2012 and be completed in
approximately four weeks.
SCOPE OF WORK ASSUMPTIONS
♦ Our work will be performed using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and
AutoCAD Version 2013 where applicable.
