AMENDMENT TO AGREBHBNT FOR MAINTENANCE OF STATE HIGHWAY entered into
by and between the City of
Gilroy
, hereinafter
referred to as "tre Ci ty", and the Department of Public Works of the
State of California, acting by and through the Division of Highways,
hereinafter called "the Department".

as provided for in Section 130 of the Streets & Highways Code, was
executed by the City

WHEREAS, said Agreement by its terms provides that it
may be modified or amended at any time upon mutual consent of the
parties; and
WHERBAS, the parties hereto now desire that said Agree-
ment be amended,
NOW, THEriEFORE, it is understood and agreed that said
Agreement be and the same is hereby amended in accordance with
the attached pages dated

like numbered pages in said Agreement, and shall cancel and
supersede such like numbered pages, becoming a part of said
Agreement for all purposes. In addition thereto the following

DESCRIPTION OF ROUTING
Monterey Street, froD south city limits
approximately 1,100 feet south of Luchessa
Avenue to north city limits approximately
1,530 feet northwestaf Welburn Avenue, a
length of approximately 2.58 miles.
First Street (Hecker Pass Highway) from west
city limits at 0.42 mile west of Wren Avenue
to Monterey Street, State Highway Route 101,
a length of approximately 1.21 miles for this
portion; also, Old Gilroy Road, from Monterey
Street, State Highway Route 101 to east city
limits at intersection with Eight Street, a -
length of approximately 0.53 mile for this
portion; a total length of approximately 1.74
miles.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC1L OF THE CITY OF

APPROVING illV.ENDMENT NUMBER 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE
OF
STATE HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF GILROY
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented Amendment
Number 1
to the Agreement for Maintenance of the State
highway in the City of
Gilrov
, dated.Julv 1. 1965,
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said Amendment
Number 1 in full and is familiar wi th the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Gilrov
that said Amendment Number
1
is
hereby approved and the Mayor and the City ~lerk are directed to
sign. the same on behalf of said City.
