A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OP GILROY
BE IT RESOLVED,
That the City of Gilroy does hereby accept that certain
Deed made by EDWARD A" t1HL to the CITY OP GILROY, dated the 18th
day of December, 1958, conveying the following described premises
situated in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, to the CITY
OF GILROY, to witt
PORTION OF SUB LOT 43, as shown on Map No. 8 accompanying
Report of the Commissioners in Henry Miller et aI, plaintiffs
va. Massey Thomas et aI, defendants, in the Superior Court
of the S~te of California, in and for the County of Santa
Cl~~_, Case No. 5536, and more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a 2" x 2" hub with tack set at the
Northeastern corner of that certain parcel of land described
in the Deed from William Se McCreight, et ux, to Ross R.
Sanchez, dated October 17, 1925, recorded November 2, 1925
in Book 195 OffiCial Records, page 201, Santa Clara County
Records, in the Southwestern line of the Monterey Road,
said point of beginning being also the most Southerly corner
of that cezain parcel. of land described in the Deed from
Albert G. Gurries and Emily A. Gurries to State of California,
dated August 21, 1941, recorded October 15, 1941 in Book
1064 Official Records, page 198, Santa Clara county Recordsr
running thence from said point of beginning along the Northern
line of the above mentioned parcel of land described in the
Deed t6 Sanchez and the prolongation westerly thereof,
South 680 45' West 208.61 feet to a pipe; thence ~orth
200 0' West 81.52 feet to a pipe: thence North 68 45'
East 204.15 feet to a pipe in the Southwestern line of the
Monterey Road, 83 said Southwestern line was established by
the D6oo. to the St.ate of California above referred to, thence
along the said Southwestern line of the Monterey Road, South
230 08' East 81~54 feet to the point of beginning_
CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 0$387 of an acre~ Surveyed on
November 15, 1941 by W$ J. Hanna, Registered Vivil Engineer
No. 3704.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said conveyance be duly
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of
Santa Clara and that the Certificate of Acceptance provided for by
Section 27261 of the Government Code be executed on behalf of the
