RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITIIDRAWING
FROM GILROY RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
HERETOFORE THEREIN WHICH HAS BEEN ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF GILROY 0
WHEREAS~ there has heretofore and on the 21st day of
Novemberz 1955~ been annexed to the City of Gilroy under the
designation of "SECOND NORTHERN ADDITION" I the following described
property located in the County of Santa Clara., state of Californiar
to wit:
Being a portion of Ranchlots 24 and 25 as shown
on Map Noo 7 accompanying the Final Report of
the Referees in the Las Animas Rancho Partition
Suit~ Action Noo 5536 had in the Superior Court
of the state of California,. in and for the County
of Santa Clara., and being more particularly described
as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the northwesterly
city limit line of the City of Gilroy with the
southwesterly line of the State Highway (1955) and
running thence along the said Northwesterly City
Limit line So 700 Wo 575011 feet to an iron pipet
thence No 210 l4t Wo 270090 feet to an iron pipet
thence along the line common to said Ranch Lots 24
and 25 Westerly 406037 feet to an iron pipet thence
No 10 32t W. 466048 feet to an iron pipe in the
southerly line of the property of the Pentecostal Churcht
thence along said southerly line No 880 30& 50" Eo
814008 feet to a concrete monument in the southwesterly
line of the State HighwaYt thence continuing along the
projection of said southerly line of the Pentecostal
Church property No 880 301 50" Eo to the intersection
thereof with the northeasterly line of the Southern
Pacific Railroad Property and the present Corporate
Limits of the City of GilroYt thence along said line
So 220 22t 30" Eo to the intersection thereof with the
original northwesterly limit line of the City of
GilroYt thence along said line So 700 Wo to the point
of beginningo
and.,
WHEREAS" said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy
were~ at the time of such annexationz included in and formed a
part of Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District~ and the Common
Council of the City of Gilroy desires that said territory so
annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection districto

NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
That said territory hereinbefore described and so
annexed to the city of Gilroy as "SECOND NORTHERN ADDITION~
bez and the same is., hereby withdrawn from said Gilroy Rural Fire
Pro~ection Districto
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 17th day of September~ 195ge by
the following vote:
