HERETOFORE 'l'BBREDi WlUCH 8M BEEN A.:NJ!fEXBD TO THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS, there has heretofore and on the 26th day of March.
1956~ been annexed to the City of Gilnoy under the designation of
~THIRD NORTHERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GILROr.. the following
described property located in the County of Santa Clara~ State of
California. to wit:
Being a portion of Ranch lot 24 of the Las Antmas
Rancho as shown on Map Noo 7 accompanying the
report of the Referees in the Las Animas Rancho
Partition Suit.. Action Noo 5536 had in the Superior
Court of the State of california. in and for the
County of Santa Clara.. and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northwesterly corner of Ranch Lot
24 as shown on said mpa. and running thence along
the line common to Ranch Lots 24 and 25 No 890 24'
30~ Eo 2175038 feet to an iron pipe at a corner of
the Second Northern Addition to the City of GilroY1
thence along the westerly line of said Second
Northern Addition So 210 14' Eo 270090 feet to an
iron pipe at the most southerly corner thereof in
the original northwesterly limits of the City of GilroY1
thence southwesterly along said northwesterly line to
the intersection thereof with the southwesterly line
of said Ranch lot 241 thence along said southwesterly
line No 220 1St Wo 998093 feet to the point of beginning.
and
CONTAINING THEREIN 3307 acres of land. more or lesso
and.
1fBEREAS., said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy
were. at the time of such annexation. included in and formed a
part of Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District. and the Common
Council of the City of Gilroy desires that said territory so
annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection district.
NOW. TRJ:PBPBP. BE IT RESOLVED:
That said territory hereinbefore described and so annexed
to the City of Gilroy as ~THIRD NORTHBRN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
GILROY~ be, and the same iSe hereby withdrawn from said Gilroy
Rural Fire Protection Districto
