RESOLUTION OP THE CQMMONCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHDRAWING
FROM GILRQYRURAL PlRE PROTECTION DISTllICTOPCERTAINTERRITORY HERE-
TOFORE THEREIN WHICH BAS BEEN AlOlEXED TO THE CITY OF GILROY.
WBEREAS~ there has heretofore and on the fifth day of
November. 1956. been annexed to the City of Gilroy under the
des ignation of "FOURTH NORTHERN ADDITION TO THE CI'l'Y OF GILROY".
the following described property located in the County of Santa
Clara. State of California~ to wit:
BEING a portion of Lots 7~ 8~ 16 and 17 as
shown on map entitled "Map of Henry Millerts
Subdivision of Las Animas Ranchlot 23"z which
map is recorded in Book"H" of Maps at page
5,. Records of Santa Clara County,. California.
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a 4" x 4" post "S2M" at the corner
common to Ranch Lots 23 and 24 in the Southerly
Bpundary of Ranch Lot 25 as shown on said map!:
and running thence along the liae common to Ranch
Lots 23 and 24 s. 220 151 Eo 1100029 feet to a
buried iron pipe at the intersection thereof with
the line common to Lots 6 and 7 as shown an said
map; thence along the line common to Lots 6 and 7
and Lots 5 and 16 No 890 1St Wo 235.15 feet to the
intersection thereof with the westerly lim of
Wren Avenue (shown as Avenue H on said map);
thence along the Westerly line of Wren Avenue
No 00 471 Eo to the intersection thereof with the
southerar line of Ranch Lot 251 thence along the
southerly line of Ranch Lot 25. No 890 08t E. 406.35
feet to the point of beginning. and
CONTAIN'ING THEREIN 14.43 acres of lando

WHEREAS~ said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy
were, at the time of such annexation. included in and formed a
part of Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District,. and the Common
Council of the City of Gilroy desires that said territory so
annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection district.
NOW, THEREFOU . BE IT RESOLVED:
That said territory hereinbefore described and so
annexed to the City of Gilroy as "FOURTH NORTBERNADDITION TO THE
CITY OF GILROY" be,. and the same is,. hereby withdrawn from said
Gilroy Rural Fire Protection Districto
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 17th day of September. 1959. by the
