RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING
THE SPECIFICATIONS AND DESIGN STANDARDS FOR PAVING, CURBS, SIDEWALKS,
GUTTERS, MANHOLES, FIRE HYDRANTS, VALVES.. AND OTHER FACILITIES RE-
FERRED TO IN RESOLUTION NO. 508 OF THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Gilroy did, on
the 4th day of Mayi' 1959.. adopt ResCDlution Noo 508..r entitled "RESO-
LUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING IM-
PROVEMENT STANDARDS FOR THE SUBDIVISION OR DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY"..
and..
WHEREAS, said Resolution provides that a property developer
shall install all paving, curbing.. sidewalks; street lights, shade
trees, driveway approaches, valley gutters, catch basins, manholes..r
fire hydrants, valve boxes in accordance with specifications and stand-
ards of design on file in the office of the City Clerk and the City
Engineer.. and said specifications and standards of design have now
been furnished by the City Engineer and are now on file in the Office
of the City Clerk and the City Engineer1 but have not been approved
by the Common Council of the City of Gilroyo
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of
the City of Gilroy does hereby approve the said specifications and
standards of design hereinbefore referred too
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 19591 by the
following vote:
