RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DIRECTING
THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GILROY BELONGING
TO SAID CITY OF GILROY 0
WHEREAS, the City of GilJD Y is the owner of the following
described premises located in the said City of GilroYl to wit:
BEING a portion of Sub Lot 43k as sho~l on Map Noo 8
accompanying the report of the Referees in Las Animas Rancho
Partition Suit Action Noo 5536, had in the Superior Court
of the State of Californiaz in and for the County of
Santa Clarar and being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of that certain
parcel of land described in the deed to Ross Sanchezl
et alol dated October 17k 1925 and Recorded November 2z
1925 in Book 195 of Official Records at Page 201r Records
of Santa Clara County; and running thence No 190 55E 30"
Wo 34039 feet; thence No 880 501 30" Eo 100.05 feet to
a point in the northwesterly line of said land of Sanchez;
thence along the Northwesterly line So 680 441 50" Wo
94075 feet to the point of beginning, and
CONTAINING THEREIN 00037 acres of lando
(Said description being as furnished by Wo Jo Hanna and
sonsl Novemberr 19580)
WHEREAS, the said property is not devoted to a public use
and is not required for municipal purposes and it will be ad-
vantageous to the City of GilJDY and in the public interest to
sell the sameo
NOW, THEREFOREg BE IT RESOLVED that the said real property
hereinbefore described be sold and that notice of the sale of said
real property inviting bids therefor be given by the City Clerk by
publication thereof, at least once a week for two weeks in the
Gilroy Evening Dispatchk said publication to be at seven-day
intervalsk and the time on or after which the sale will be made
as stated in the notice to be at least fifteen (15) days from

and after the first publication of the notice;
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 5th day of Octoberil 19594" by the
