RESOLUTION NO. 80-34
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING CHARGES FOR WATER SERVICE AS PROVIDED
IN CHAPTER 27 OF TIm GILROY CITY CODE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy
that the following rates and charges be established for water
service under the following Sections of the City Code commencing
April 20, 1980, that paragraphs 7 and 10 of Resolution No. 1584
be so amended, and that the proceeds therefrom be deposited in
the City water fund.
1. Section 27.42: Rates for metered service in the city
shall be the following Base Rates plus $0.35 per 1,000 gallons or
fraction thereof used per month.

Rates for larger meters will be established by the Finance
Department as necessary.
2. Section 27.50: Rates for metered service outside the city
shall be double the rates charged in the city under Section 27.42.
