RESOLUTION NO. 1814
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
REQUESTING THE COUNCIL ON INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS
TO RESERVE SECOND-YEAR FUNDING UNDER 701 PLANNING
GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy and several neighboring
jurisdictions are currently developing an Implementation Study
for South Santa Clara County; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to continue appurtenant planning
studies following the completion of the current 701 planning pro-
ject.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Gilroy h~reby
respectfully requests the Council on Intergovernmental Relations
to set aside additional grant funds to carryon this South Santa
Clara County study during the next fiscal year (1974-75).
Further, the City Council hereby conditions this request
with the requirement that all agencies involved in the current
planning study must be satisfied with the end product of this
first-year project prior to the City of Gilroy expending any funds
on a second-year program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 1974, by the
following vote:
