RESOLUTION NO. 1669
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS
RONAN AVENUE - SOUTH CHESTNUT STREET
PROJECT NO. 1971-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, that
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Reso-
lution No. 1647 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention
adopted by the City Council of said City on May 15, 1972 was
$425,389.22 of which the City was to contribute $162,803.64,
leaving a balance to assessment of $262,585.58:
WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work
said estimate may be reduced to $ 386,217.46
, of which
the City will contribute $ 262,137.32
, leaving a balance to
assessment of $
124,080 . 14

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the total
assessment is hereby reduced to $ 124,080.14
and that
each of the individual assessments shall be reduced by its pro
rata share of the difference between the original assessment
and the new assessment.
