RESOLUTION NO. 1465
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR GRANT TO ACQUIRE AND/OR DEVELOP LAND FOR
OPEN-SPACE PURPOSES NO. CALIF. OSA-274 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF GILROY AND
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy as follows:
Section 1. The pending proposed Contract for Grant to Acquire and/or
Develop Land for Open-Space Purposes No. C~Jif. OSA-274 is hereby in all
respects approved.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Gilroy is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Contract No. Calif. OSA-274(G) - First Amendatory in
two (2) counterparts on behalf of the City of Gilroy and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to impress and attest the official seal of
the Publ ic Body on each such counterpart and to forward such counterparts
to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, for execution on behalf
of the Government together with such other documents relative to the approval
and execution of such counterparts as may be required by the Government.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 1970, by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Batrez, Duffin, Pate, Silva, Wentworth, and
Goodrich.
NOES: COUNC I L MEMBERS: None
ABS ENT: COUNC I L MEMBERS: Kennedy
