RESOLUTION NO. 1419
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING AND ADOPTING
BEAUTIFICATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Gilroy has from time to time
adopted various plans and programs for the general beautification of the
City of Gilroy, and;
WHEREAS the City Council now desires to incorporate these various
plans and programs into one consolidated City Beautification Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE BE fT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Gilroy
does hereby consolidate the following plans and programs into a Beautifica-
tion Plan for the City of Gilroy:
1. Gilroy General Plan
2. Gilroy Street Tree Program
3. Parks Program
4. Roadside Beautification Program
5. Applicable portion of the City's Five-Year Capital
Improvement Program and Current Budget
6. Downtown Business District Street Tree Plan
7. Parking District Beautification Program
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the 1st day of December, 1969,
by the following vote:
A YES:
NOES :
COUNCIL MEMBERS: Batrez, Kennedy, Pate, Silva, Wentworth,
and Goodrich.
COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABS ENT:
COUNCIL MEMBERS: Duffin
