RESOLUTION NO. 685
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF GILROY
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 1641, STATUTES OF 1959
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy has previously requested the State
Department of Finance to provide planning assistance to it under authority of
Chapter 1641, Statutes of 1959 in conjunctior. with Section 701 of the Housing Act
of 1954 as amended; and
WHEREAS, the State has accordingly prepared a proposed agreement between the
City and State entitled IIAgreement Between the State of California and the City of
Gilroy relating to Urban Planning Assistancell, further identified
as LPO-PI 56-CS-I
GILROY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
10 That Sig Sanchez, Mayor
is hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid agreement with the State
on behalf of the City.l' and the City agrees to be bound by the terms thereof 0
2. That G. B. carrJ Director of Finance & Susanne E. payne6 City Auditor
are authorized and directe to issue a check in the amount of $3 0.00
and to deposit said sum of money with the State of California to be administered
in accordance with the terms of such agreement.
3. Passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy
