RESOLUTION NO. 84-47
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT REPORT FOR A PROPOSED GENERAL PLAN
AMENDMENT AND ROAD REALIGNMENT BY FILICE
FAMILY ESTATES
WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearings
as required by law, the Planning Commission of the City
of Gilroy has recommended by its Resolution No. 84-29 that
the City Council certify the Environmental Impact Report
for the proposed general plan amendment by Filice Family
Estates changing alignment of Thomas Road and Miller Avenue
and land use on approximately 82.74 acres of land in the
vicinity of Miller Avenue, Thomas Road and north of Santa
Te~esa Boulevard, and
~~EREAS, the City Council, after examining the report
finds that it does adequately meet the requirements of the
California Environmental Quality Act,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Environmental Impact Report
prepared by Larry Seeman Associates, Inc. for the above
described project be certified as a final report meeting all
the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act.
