RESOLUTION NO. 88 - 50
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY COMMENDING SERVICES OF MR. LOU
SCETTRINI, GROUNDSKEEPER I.
WHEREAS, Mr. Lou Scettrini, has been employed by the City of Gilroy for
thirteen years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Scettrini, has declared to retire from the City of Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, Lou Scettrini, has served as an employee in the Parks and
Recreation Department since 1975; and
WHEREAS, during his long period of service, always performed his duties
conscientiously, honestly and with the best interests of the City of Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Scettrini, has always been a helpful and willing employee; and
WHEREAS, the Gilroy City Council desires to take this opportunity to
commend Mr. Scettrini's past services to the City of Gilroy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council does hereby
commend and honor Mr. Scettrini, for his conscientious and faithful service during

his tenure with the City of Gilroy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby extend our best wishes to Lou and
his family for continued success and happiness.
