All copies forwarded to Consultant for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Consultant's copy will be returned to him as his authority to proceed with the work. Preparation of two grant application for the Santa Clara Valley Water District's 2013 Comprehensive Stewardship Grant Program. - See attached scope of work and fee. All requirements of the original Agreement Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by this Amendment. Please be assured DHA will meet the deadlines stated in the Grant Applications given our performance on other Grant Applications we prepared for the City and the long history and wealth of information DHA already has on the Ronan Channel Trail project. We estimate a total of 84 hours ($11,696) will be required to finalize the Applications according to the published Grant Materials. As the facility owner, we expect your assistance in supplying us some of the requested information. We will communicate our needs and requests through your office. DHA will however be responsible for finalizing the Applications and have them ready for your signature. Our Scope includes the preparation and submittal of the Draft Applications to the City, implementation of City's comments, and submittal of the Final Grant Applications for your signature and filing with the appropriate Agencies. The Grant Applications include the following: 1. Ronan Channel Trail Construction. This will include: o Construction of a pedestrian /bike trail along Ronan Channel from Leavesley Road to Rogers Lane 2. Was Creek and Llagas Creek Cleanup. This will include: o A 2 year creek cleanup program to remove and prevent pollution, remove invasive species, and planting of native species. DHA will review all available information to date on the Trail project including but not limited to: 1. Available design information 2. Prior Grant Applications submitted by the City 3. Available quantities and cost estimates performed to date 4. Any other pertinent information deemed necessary to submit the Grant application DHA will coordinate the work with City Staff, SCVWD, and other stakeholders as deemed necessary for the successful submittal of the Grant Applications. DHA will prepare the Grant application according to the agency's requirements. DHA will advise the City of the Minimum Grant Application Requirements, General Provisions, and the Administration Process set forth by SCVWD. DHA will then fill out the Grant Application and the Project Description including technical write -up, construction and cleanup costs, exhibits, and other pertinent information.
