This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called
to order by His Honor Mayor George C.Milias.
Present:Councilmen George M.Mason,J.H.Wentworth,James B.Thomas,
Carl W.Pate. Absen t:Councilmen David V.Stout,Dale D.Daniels.
The Mayor announces that the purpose of this meeting is to dis-
cuss an ordinance regulating the erection of television aerials.
Several local television suppliers are present.
The City Attorney,at the request of the Mayor, now presents and
reads a proposed ordinance setting forth requirements for the
erection of television aerials.
The Mayor now asks for oomment from television dealers present.
Mr.Ed.Peterman,representing Howard Electrio Company, now appears
before the Council to discuss parts of the ordinance.
Hall *s,Gth & Monterey streets, representative now appears before
the Council and suggests changes and additions to the proposed
cr dinance.
After considerable discussion the Ordinance Committee and the
City Attorney are instructed to draw and ordinance tegulating the
erection of television aerials, to be presented at the December
3rd meeting of the Council.
Councilman Pate discusses the need for another truck for use of
Streets Department and he is instructed to secure the necessary
information relative to trucks to present to the Council.
