All copies forwarded to Contractor for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Contractor's copy will be returned to him as his authority to proceed with the work. This Amendment adds three ONE TIME services for limited irrigation renovation construction improvements for San Ysidro Park, Sunrise Park, and Los Arroyos Park. There are four contract additions for the ON -GOING CONTRACT SERVICES for the annual landscape maintenance contract that include turf care for 7390 Dowdy Street Lot, the Uvas Class I Trail grant addition maintenance, and addition of the third Downtown hang flower basket change out and the new parking to Monterey St. Paseo. The total dollar amount of this proposal is labor only to change out the current impact rotors for new Rain Bird Falcons 6004. Material to be furnished by the City of Gilroy as agreed with Chris Weske in our July P meeting. Prices will be valid for 90 days. Our proposal is as follows: Head Retrofit $2225.38 6 Labor to change out 55 heads from RB Maxi Paw to Rain Bird 6004 ♦ Work to be performed on lawn station 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11,12,14 and 15 all other stations on system to retrain as they are and require no action at this time. The system currently in place is in need of updating and being retrofitted with new technologies that can improve current system coverage, maximize the effective watering area put out by each head and increase the overall health of the plant material being irrigated by the system. The proposal is to change existing 4" I20 pop up rotors with a taller Rainbird 5006 Plus head. The added head height should aid in reducing the amount of water waste caused by sod deflection on lower and smaller heads. The proposal also includes the addition and relocation of heads in trouble areas which are currently yellow due to lack of coverage. Prices will be valid for 90 days. Our proposal is as follows: Head Retrofit $1294.88 ♦ Labor and Material to change out (24) heads from Hunter 120 to Rain Bird 5006 Pius. Work will be performed on stations 16, 24 and 25 (Berm lawn areas on either side of community center.) ♦ Station 16 restore to Hunter I -20 at no additional cost ♦ Restore park head nozzles per COG nozzle schedule at no additional cost Head Addition $66036 ♦ Add (1) head station and relocate (1) head on station with approximately 40ft of trenching on 14 to improve coverage to trouble dry spot in lawn. • Add (1) Head and relocate (1) head on Station 22 to improve coverage to trouble dry spot behind light post in lawn.
