FOR EIGLEBERRY STREET RESURFACING PROJECT, PO No. 14 -PW -213, FED. PROJ. NO. STPL - 5034 -25 DATED 6/15/14, AMENDMENT NO. 1 This Amendment shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, Project Manager, and Consultant. All copies forwarded to Consultant for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Consultant's copy will be returned to him as his authority proceed with the work. Amendment Scope of Work: This amendment is for Bengal Engineering's design support during the final revisions of the plan, specifications and estimate (completed August - September 2014), bidding support (completed October - November 2014), and design support during construction (spring 2015). Included in Bengals scope of work: • Final Eigleberry Street Resurfacing Project updates and additional Eigleberry Water Service and Water Main Replacement Project updates • Provided redlines to the city project engineer for final bid set of plans • Updated the specifications and estimate for bidding • Bid Support o Reviewed and addressed RFI's • Design support during construction The current purchase order contract total is $19,300. The design work completed and construction support anticipated as described in this amendment is an additional $14,545 for a final contract total of $33,845. All requirements of the original Agreement Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by this Amendment. The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this Amendment. Bengal Engineering, Inc. hereby agrees to make the above changes and perform the work subject to the terms of this Amendment for continued engineering design and construction support services in an additional amount not to exceed $33,845.
