THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA
And
THE CITY OF GILROY
This is the First Amendment to the Agreement between THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA on
behalf of the Probation Department ( "COUNTY") and THE CITY OF GILROY on behalf of the
Police Department of the City of Gilroy ( "CONTRACTOR" or "CITY OF GILROY") relating to
compensation of one Deputy Probation Officer to provide California Gang Reduction,
Intervention, and Prevention (CaIGRIP) program services.
The parties agree to amend the Agreement as follows effective as of this amendment.
Article II: "City of Gilroy Obligations," Item A is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. Compensate COUNTY for the salary, not including benefits, of one Deputy Probation
Officer in an amount not to exceed:
1. $18,750 for April 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014 (FYI 4),
2. $75,000 for July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 (FYI 5),
3. $75,000 for July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 (FY16).
4. $75,000 for July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 (FY17)
5. $37,500 for July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 (FY18)
Article V: "Term," is hereby amended to read as follows:
The term of this Agreement is from April 1, 2014, up to, and including December 31, 2017.

Except as provided herein, all other provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect
without amendment or change.
