CONTINGENCY CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
To contract for: Eigleberry Street Resurfacing Project City Project No.: 14 -PW- 213 /STPL- 5034(025)
Contractor: Graniterock Inc. Contract Date: 3/1/2015
This order shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, City Engineer, Project Engineer, and Contractor. All copies
forwarded to Contractor for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Contractor's copy
will be returned to him as his authority to proceed with the work
Description of Work
1. Reduce quantity of item 11 from 400 LF to 67 LF for a deduction of $4,995. 2. Remove 3,856 LF of curb and gutter at a negotiated unit price o'
$20/LF (this is a new bid item 11 a, which was added to the project because the original contract only had remove "curb" (bid item 11) at $1511-F)
for a price of $77,120. 3. Construct an additional 92.5 LF of concrete curb & gutter (bid item 22) at the bid price of $60/LF for a price of $5,550.
4. Construct additional 3,393.5 LF of curb and gutter at an agreed unit price of $85.49 /LF (this increase from the bid price of $60 1LF for bid item
22 only applies to those quantities over 125% of original bid quantity of 370 LF) for a price of $290,110.32. 5. Remove vegetationlroots and
repair irrigation in parkways for curb replacement at an estimated cost of $20,397.32 (this item was not in original bid - shown as "Extra Work
item 4 - Misc. Extra Work). 6. Remove and replace temporary water line trench patch material with A/C pavement for an agreed price of
$39,203.76 (this item was not in original bid - shown as "Extra Work item 1 - Grind /Pave Trench). 7. Provide 22 additional access ramps at the
contract unit bid price of $4,000 /EA for a price of $88,000.8. Remove additional 643 SY of sidewalk (bid item 12) @ unit bid price of $20 /SYfor
a price of $12,860. 9. Construct additional 310 SY of driveway apron (bid item 23) @ unit bid price of $180 /SY for a price of $55,800. 10.
Construct additional 136 SY of sidewalk (bid item 24) @ unit bid price of $120 1SY for a price of $16,320. 11. Eliminate bid item 41A for a
deduction of $70,200. 12. Construct additional 487.5 SF of detectable warning surface (bid item 21) @ unit bid price of $46 /SF for a price of
$22,425.
All requirements of the original Contract Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by this Change Order.
By signing this Change Order, Contractor acknowledges and agrees that the adjustments to cost and time contained herein are in full satisfaction
and accord, and are accepted as payment in full, for any and all costs and expenses associated with this Change Order, (the "Extra Work "),
including but not limited to labor, materials, overhead and profit, delay, disruption, loss of efficiency and any and all other direct and /or indirect
costs or expenses associated with the Extra Work and hereby waives any right to claim any further cost and time impacts at any time during and
after completion of the Contract associated with the Extra Work.
Change in working time granted by this change order: I deferred lWorking Days Cost Percentage

bills for work done under this Change Order shall
