Consultant shall sign 2 original copies provided by the City. All copies forwarded to Consultant for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Consultant's copy will be returned to him as his authorization to proceed with work. This Amendment increases the funding of the Agreement for Services between the City of Gilroy and Drake Haglan and Associates, dated October 3, 20`11 in the amount of $34,209.00. The increased funding will allow Consultant to complete the additional tasks for the Ronan Channel (West Branch Llagas Creek Trail) project as shown in the attached scope of work. Drake Haglan and Associates hereby agrees to make the above changes subject to the terms of this Amendment for Technical and Professional Services. Page 1 of 1 2/11/2016 Additional Funding for Ronan Channel Amendment No. 4 Ronan Channel (West Branch Llagas Creek Trail) Project Scope of Work Task A - Safety Features CONSULTANT will research safety features in addition to the typical trail requirements within the project limits. Approved safety features will be Safety features will be incorporated into the final project design elements. Final plans, specifications, quantities and estimate will be updated to include incorporated safety features. CONSULTANT will perform a QA/QC review of the plans, specifications and estimate and incorporate appropriate revisions prior to submittal to the City. Task B - New Service Connection and Underground Utilities CONSULTANT will research and coordinate the requirements for a new service connection and underground utility work related to the new service needed to provide power to the proposed irrigation controller and meter at IOOF Avenue. CONSULTANT will coordinate with PG &E the specific requirements for the underground utility and service point of connection. CONSULTANT will also coordinate with the City to determine if a new PG &E service connection is more feasible than an optional solar powered service point at Leavesley Road. Details will be incorporated into the plans, specifications and estimate. CONSULTANT will perform a QA/QC review of the plans, specifications and estimate and incorporate appropriate revisions prior to submittal to the City. Task C - Interpretive Signs CONSULTANT will develop additional concepts for the interpretive sign designs to incorporate latest requested theme and fit within context of the new proposed sign locations. New sign locations are to be verified for sign placement and accessibility. Approved interpretive sign concept will be detailed incorporated into the project plans, specifications and estimate. CONSULTANT will perform a QA/QC review of the plans, specifications and estimate and incorporate appropriate revisions prior to submittal to the City.
