Home My WebLink AboutDrake Haglan - 2016 Agreement - Amendment No. 1Amendment to the Agreement For Services Between City of Gilroy and Drake Haglan and Associates For Traffic Engineering Design and Operational Studies Support: Program 5 Dated June 6, 2016 Amendment No. 1 This Amendment shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, Project Manager, and Consultant. Consultant shall sign 2 original copies provided by the City. All copies forwarded to Consultant for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Consultant's copy will be returned to him as his authorization to proceed with work. This Scope includes the preparation and submittal of three separate Draft Grant Applications to the City, implementation of City's comments, and submittal of the Final Grant Applications for the City's signature and filing with the appropriate Agencies. The Grant Applications include the following: Task /Project Project Type Description of DHA Task Pedestrian Task 1 Promenade Write and Submit the Grant Application (OBAG2) and Gourmet Alley (Corridor) and attend Public Meeting if needed ** Streetscape Task 2 Streetscape th Write and Submit the Grant Application (OBAG2) and 4 Street attend Public Meeting if needed ** Task 3 Streetscape Write and Submit the Grant Application (OBAG2) and Monterey Street attend Public Meeting if needed ** (1st Street to 8" Street) This application will be for OBAG guaranteed funds Task 4 Complete Streets 5th and Martin Write and Submit the Grant Application (OBAG2) and Street Complete attend Public Meeting if needed ** Street Gap Closure ** If necessary, the City of Gilroy will be responsible for OBAG Grant Application public meeting announcements, flyers, mailers, setting up accommodations and paying associated fees. DHA will review available information to date on the trail projects including but not limited to: • Available design information • Prior Grant Applications submitted by the City • Available quantities and cost estimates performed to date • Any other pertinent information deemed necessary to submit the Grant application DHA will coordinate the work with City Staff, SCVWD, and other stakeholders as deemed necessary for the successful submittal of the Grant Applications. DHA will prepare the Grant application according to the agency's requirements. DHA will advise the City of the Minimum Grant Application Requirements, General Provisions, and the Administration Process set forth by SCVWD. DHA will then fill out the Grant Application and the Project Description including technical write -up, construction and cleanup costs, exhibits, and other pertinent information. DHA will meet the OBAG Grant Application due date of July 15, 2016. Drake Haglan and Associates hereby agrees to make the above changes subject to the terms of this Amendment for Civil Engineering Services. Except as expressly modified herein, all of the provisions of the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. In the case of any inconsistencies between the Original Agreement and this Amendment, the terms of this Amendment shall control. This Amendment may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.
