AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN
CITY OF GILROY AND SAFETY NETWORK TRAFFIC SIGNS, INC. FOR CONTRACTOR
SERVICES DATED OCTOBER 3rd, 2016
AMENDMENT NO. 1
This Amendment shall become effective when it has been signed by the Department Head, Project Engineer,
City Engineer, and Contractor. All copies forwarded to Contractor for signature shall be returned to the City of
Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Contractor's copy will be returned to him as his
authority proceed with the work.
This amendment extends the term of the Agreement for Services between the City of Gilroy and Safety
Network Traffic Signs, Inc. dated October 3rd, 2019 to October 17th, 2022.
This amendment revises the payment schedule to the following:
• Monthly payment of $7,118.15 for 7 months from October 16th, 2017 to May 16th, 2018 for a not -
to- exceed amount of $49,827. The final payment of $7,118.15 shall be withheld until the final
report shown in "Exhibit D" is completed and accepted by the City.
• There shall be no work and no payment from May 17th, 2018 to October 15th, 2018.
• Monthly payment of $416.25 from October 16th, 2018 to October 17th, 2022 for a not -to- exceed
amount of $19,980.00
This amendment revises the contract language to include the following:
• The entire table of data collected from the sign inventory shall be provided in a master CSV file
to the City on an annual basis and after a major bulk changes (a change of 1000 signs or more)
have been made.
All requirements of the original Agreement Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically
modified by this Amendment. The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this
Amendment.
Safety Network Traffic Signs, Inc. hereby agrees to make the above changes subject to the terms of this
Amendment for ongoing maintenance services.
