PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gilroy, on Monday, February 28, 2022, will
introduce an ordinance and will consider the adoption of the proposed ordinance on Monday, March 21,
2022, the title of which is:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADDING ARTICLE XIV
TO CHAPTER 2 THE GILROY CODE TO MANDATE ELECTRONIC AND PAPERLESS FILING
OF FAIR POLITICAL PRACTICES COMMISSION CAMPAIGN DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS
AND STATEMENTS OF ECONOMIC INTEREST
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE:
This ordinance, if approved, would mandate electronic and paperless filing of Fair Political
Practices Commission Campaign Disclosure Statements and Statements of Economic Interest.

ordinance. A certified copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is available for public review
