PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLANNING COMMISSION | THURSDAY, MARCH 10, 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Gilroy Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the item can be heard. In
accordance with Assembly Bill AB 361, this meeting will be held virtually, so long as the Gilroy City
Council makes necessary findings at least every 30 days until the Governor lifts the state of
emergency. Otherwise, the meeting will be held in person at Gilroy City Hall Council Chambers,
located at 7351 Rosanna Street Gilroy, CA, on the following:

Project Title: Canyon Creek, Rocky Knoll & Malvasia II at Glen Loma Ranch Tentative Map
Project Applicant: The Glen Loma Group/Filice Family Estate c/o Tim Filice
Property Owner: Filice Family Estate c/o Tim Filice and Donald C. Christopher
Project Location: Northeast of Santa Teresa Boulevard, south and southwest of West
Luchessa Avenue
Assessor Parcel No.: 808-18-032 and 808-58-005
Project Description: The project requests subdivision of a 41.4+/- acre site for build-out of the
Canyon Creek, Rocky Knoll and Malvasia II neighborhoods of the Glen Loma Ranch Specific Plan
area. The requested map proposes to create 40 single-family lots in the Canyon Creek
neighborhood; six lots for the creation of 41 townhouse units in the Rocky Knoll neighborhood;
and nine lots for the creation of 42 townhouse units in the Malvasia II neighborhood.
An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) with 52 mitigation measures covering this area within the
Glen Loma Ranch Specific Plan was adopted in 2005.
A detailed description of the proposal is on file with the Community Development Department at
City Hall. The staff report for the proposal may also be viewed on the City website
(www.cityofgilroy.org) by 5:00 p.m. the Friday before the meeting.
Interested parties are encouraged to attend this public hearing via online virtual portal if
broadcast virtually via Zoom, as this is the time and place when comments on the proposals shall

Should the meeting be held in person, interested parties are encouraged to attend the
meeting in person in the Gilroy City Hall Council Chambers, located at 7351 Rosanna Street
Gilroy, CA.
The meeting will also be broadcast live on the City of Gilroy’s website at www.cityofgilroy.org, or on
Cable Channel 17
Persons who are unable to attend this public hearing may submit written comments by email to the
project planner noted below, or by delivering them to the Planning Division at City Hall, 7351
Rosanna St. Gilroy, CA. 95020 prior to, or at the public hearing to be incorporated into the record.
If you challenge the decisions at this hearing, you may be limited to raising only those issues you
or someone else raised at the hearing, described in this notice, or in written correspondence
delivered to the City at or prior to the meeting.
