NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gilroy, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022,
will hold a public hearing commencing at Gilroy City Council Chambers, 7351 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, CA, at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider the following item(s):
Consideration of the Placement of Special Assessment Liens for the Non-payment
of Charges for the Collection of Garbage, Rubbish, and Refuse on Certain
Properties Located in the City of Gilroy
A detailed description of the proposal, including a listing of accounts and property
addresses that are delinquent and subject to the lien, is on file with the City’s Finance
Department. Agenda and staff report for this proposal may be viewed on the City website
(http://gilroyca.iqm2.com/Citizens/) by 5 p.m. the Thursday before the City Council
meeting. If you have any questions about this hearing, please contact Finance Director
Harjot Sangha at 408-846-0294, or by email at Harjot.Sangha@cityofgilroy.org.
NOTE: Interested parties are encouraged to attend this public hearing as this is the time
and place when comments on the proposals shall be heard and given due consideration.
If you challenge the adequacy of the subject proposed actions in court, you will be limited
to raising only those issues or alleged inadequacies which you presented to the City
Council orally or in writing at or prior to the public hearing. You may not be entitled to
maintain a legal action against the proposed action unless you object to it, orally or in
writing, at or prior to the public hearing.
If you challenge the decisions at this hearing, you may be limited to raising only those
issues you or someone else raised at the hearing, described in this notice, or in written
correspondence delivered to the City at or prior to the meeting.
