NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gilroy, on Monday, August 1,
2022, will hold a public hearing commencing at Gilroy City Council Chambers, 7351 Rosanna
Street, Gilroy, CA, at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider the following item(s):
Consideration of the Report of Abatement of Weeds and Refuse Within the City of
Gilroy and Adoption of a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Gilroy
Confirming the Imposition of Assessment Liens Against the Land
NOTE: Interested parties are encouraged to attend this public hearing as this is the time
and place when comments on the proposals shall be heard and given due consideration.
If you challenge the adequacy of the subject proposed actions in court, you will be limited
to raising only those issues or alleged inadequacies which you presented to the City
Council orally or in writing at or prior to the public hearing. You may not be entitled to
maintain a legal action against the proposed action unless you object to it, orally or in
writing, at or prior to the public hearing.
Persons who are unable to attend this public hearing may submit written comments by
email to the project planner noted below, or by delivering them to the Planning Division
at City Hall, 7351 Rosanna St. Gilroy, CA. 95020 prior to, or at the public hearing to be
incorporated into the record. If you challenge the decisions at this hearing, you may be
limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing, described
in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at or prior to the meeting.
Detailed description of this proposal is on file with the Fire Department. The staff report
for this proposal may be viewed on the city website (www.citvofgilrov.orq) by 5:00 PM the
