HomeMy WebLinkAboutPosted 10/19/2022 | Public Notice - Public Hearing - Proposed Subdivision of 778 First Street City of Gilroy 7351 Rosanna Street | Gilroy, CA 95020-6197 Phone: (408) 846-0204 | Fax: (408) 846-0500 www.cityofgilroy.org NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Post On: Wednesday, October 19, 2022 Post Until: Tuesday, November 8, 2022 Published in the Gilroy Dispatch on Friday, October 28, 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gilroy City Council Monday, November 7, 2022, will hold a public hearing commencing at Gilroy City Council Chambers, 7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, CA, at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider the following item(s): Project Number: TM 22-04 Project Title: Proposed Subdivision of 778 First Street Project Applicant: Craig Filice Property Owner: Castlewood Corner LLC Project Location: 778 First Street Assessor Parcel Nos.: 808-12-035 & 808-12-036 Project Description: Proposed tentative map to subdivide an approximately 75,482 square foot lot at 778 First Street into two lots having approximately 55,191 square feet and 20,291 square feet respectively. There are existing buildings and buildings under construction on the site along with other site improvements; however, no new construction beyond these is proposed. CEQA Determination: The proposed subdivision is exempt from further environmental review and qualifies for the State CEQA Guidelines Class 15 Exemption, Minor Land Divisions, because the proposed subdivision results in less than four parcels, is in conformance the City’s General Plan and Zoning, seeks no exceptions or variances, and all services and access to the resulting parcels is available. Planning Commission Recommendation: On October 6, 2022, the Planning Commission reviewed the project and recommended approval of Application Number TM 22-04 by a vote of 5-0-1-1, there being one Commissioner absent and one vacancy on the Commission. Persons who are unable to attend this public hearing may submit written comments by email to the project planner noted below, or by delivering them to the Planning Division at City Hall, 7351 Rosanna St. Gilroy, CA. 95020 prior to, or at the public hearing to be incorporated into the record. If you challenge the decisions at this hearing, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing, described TM 22-04 – Proposed Subdivision Of 778 First Street Page 2 of 2 in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at or prior to the meeting.
