NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gilroy, on Monday, November
21, 2022, will introduce an ordinance and will consider the adoption of the proposed ordinance on
Monday, December 5, 2022, the title of which is:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING A
ZONING MAP AMENDMENT (Z 21-05) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON 6630, 6640,
6650, 6660, 6675, 6687 ROYAL WAY AND 651 THOMAS ROAD, APN: 799 -44-093,
094, 095, 096, 097, 098, 101, 109 & 110
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE:
The ordinance will amend the official Zoning Map of the City of Gilroy, a part of the
municipal code pursuant to Section 30.3.40, to rezone the property from Medium Density
Residential R-3 to Medium Density Residential R-3-Planned Unit Development Overlay
(PUD) Zone District.
Reading the entire ordinance is necessary to obtain a full understanding of the provisions
of this ordinance. A certified copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is available
for public review in the Office of the City Clerk at Gilroy City Hall, 7351 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, CA. Please call the Office of the City Clerk at (408) 846-0204 for further inquiries.
