NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gilroy, on Monday, November
21, 2022, will introduce an ordinance and will consider the adoption of the proposed ordinance on
Monday, December 5, 2022, the title of which is:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING A
ZONING MAP AMENDMENT (Z 22-01) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 700 W SIXTH
STREET (APN: 799-26-033, 037, 049, 050, 051 & 052)
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE:
This Ordinance amends the City of Gilroy Zoning Map for the subject property in
accordance with the provisions of Article LII and Section 30.26.10 of the Gilroy City Code.
This Ordinance approves rezoning from the Medium Density Residential R-3 to Medium
Density Residential R-3-Planned Unit Development Overlay (PUD) Zone District.
Reading the entire ordinance is necessary to obtain a full understanding of the provisions
of this ordinance. A certified copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is available
for public review in the Office of the City Clerk at Gilroy City Hall, 7351 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, CA. Please call the Office of the City Clerk at (408) 846-0204 for further inquiries.
