NOTICE OFA PUBLIC HEARING
OFTHE GILROY PLANNING COMMISSION
TO CONSIDER A ZONING AMENDMENT REQUEST
THIS PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD on
Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the
item can be heard. in the Gilroy City Council Chambers at City Hall,
7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN -that the Planning Commission will consider
a zoning ordinance amendment for a City -initiated amendment of Gilroy
City Code Chapter 30 (Zoning) repealing and replacing Article 54,
Accessory Dwelling Units, in its entirety and adopting new standards in
compliance with state law. (Z 20-01)
A detailed description of the proposal is on file with the Community
Development Department at City Hall. The staff report for the proposal
may also be viewedon the City website (www.cityofgilrcy.org) by 5:00
p.m. the Friday before the meeting.
Interested parties are encouraged to attend this public hearing as this
is the time and place when comments on the proposals shall be heard
and given due consideration. Persons who are unable to attend this
public hearing may submit written comments by delivering them to the
Planning Division at City Hall, 7351 Rosanna St. Gilroy, CA. 95020 prior
to, or at the public hearing to be incorporated into the record. If you
challenge the decisions at this hearing, you may be limited to raising only
those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing, described in this
notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at or prior to
the meeting.
