PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The City of Gilroy Planning
Commission will hold a public
hearing at 6:30 pm on Thursday,
March 12. 2020, in the City
Council Chambers at 7351
Rosanna Street. Gilroy, CA
95020, to consider the following
item:
CUP 19-01(#19110033)
(Conditional Use Permit)
request for approval to allow
Bitter TapHouse to operate
an on -site, fifty -seat, beer
consumption establishment
within a historic building. on
a 0.21-acre site, from 12:00
pm-10:00 pm Tuesday -Sunday.
Alcohol consumptionwill be
limited to designated areas
within the historic structure
and the gated backyard. The
applicant will possess a Type
40 ABC license which will allow
guests of all ages. The property
is located at 7797 Monterey St.
in the Downtown Expansion
Dish ict (DED) commercial zone
(APN 799 03-047). This project
is exempt from environmental
review under Section 15301
of the State CEQA Guidelines
(Class 1) which applies to project
involving existing facilities with
negligible or no expansion of
use. Application filed by Larissa
Dickerson, 7797 Monterey St.,
Gilroy CA.
Interested parties are
encouraged to attend the
Public hearings. Persors who
are unable to attend may
submit written comments to
the Gilroy Planning Division or
Gilroy City Clerk's Office. 7351
