RESOLUTION NO. 2024-30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GILROY FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT GRANTS
FUND AND APPROPRIATING PROPOSED EXPENDITURE
AMENDMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, and the City Council carefully
examined, considered, and adopted the same on June 5, 2023; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for the City of Gilroy in the staff report
dated July 29, 2024, for the Police Department Grants Fund, appropriating funding received from
the Department of California Highway Patrol, Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same and is
satisfied with said budget amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that revenue and expenditure
appropriations in the Police Department Grants Fund, Fund 225, is hereby increased by
$110,318.49 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
