RESOLUTION NO. 2024-32
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR
THE CITY OF GILROY FOR 2024-2025 AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS IN THE GENERAL FUND
FOR THE GRANT-RELATED EXPENDITURE
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, and the City Council
carefully examined, considered and adopted the same on June 5, 2023; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council proposed
amendments to the budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for the City of Gilroy in the staff report dated
July 29, 2024, regarding the California Department of Transportation Grant award for the City’s
Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reduction Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the revenue and expenditure appropriations
for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 in Fund 100 – General Fund shall be increased by $335,529.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of July 2024 by the following roll call vote:
