A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GILROY FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2024-25 APPROPRIATING VARIOUS GRANT AWARDS
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a
budget for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2023-24 and 2024-2025, and the City
Council carefully examined, considered and adopted the same on June 5, 2023; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council proposed
amendments to said budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 for the City of Gilroy in the staff
report dated October 21, 2024 for appropriating various grant awards; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same
and is satisfied with said budget amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT appropriations and revenues for
Fiscal Year 2024-25 are hereby increased in the following funds, in the associated
amounts:
General Fund, Fund 100, by $277,035
Office of Transportation Safety Grant Fund, Fund 223, by $125,000
Police Department Grant Fund, Fund 225, by $13,807.
