CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Marques at 8:00 AM. 2. ROLL CALL Attendance Attendee Name Present Fran Beaudet, Committee Member Marie Blankley (Mayor), Committee Member Dion Bracco (Council Member), Committee Member Danny Mitchell, Committee Member Emily McEwan-Upright, Committee Member Susan Jacobsen, Committee Member Carol Marques (Council Member), Chair Jeanie Rizzuto, Committee Member Rebeca Armendariz (Council Member), Committee Member Dave Leal, Committee Member Fred Tovar (Council Member), Chair Frank Johnson, Committee Member Staff Present: Jimmy Forbis, City Administrator Sharon Goei, Community Development Director Victoria Valencia, Economic Development Manager Absent Richard Legends, Committee Member Savannah Loganbach, Committee Member 3. Public Comment Chair Marques opened Public Comment. There being no speakers, Chair Marques closed Public Comment 4. Approval of the Minutes: D. Mitchell motioned to approve, S. Jacobsen seconded. Approved. One correction was made. Minutes incorrectly listed Tom Mozzone as a speaker, corrected to Tom Miller. 5. Gilroy Dispatch removed plywood front Noted that this was the last business in downtown with plywood on their store front. 6. Continuation of August’s meeting: motion J. Rizzuto made a motion to recommend no additional parklets between 1st and 10th Streets, on Monterey Street, as well as side streets, Railroad Street to Eigleberry Street. Seconded by S. Jacobsen. Majority approved, motion passed. Next step will be to send recommendation to Council. 7. Subcommittee report on parklet requirements J. Rizzuto made a motion to recommend sending City of Campbell’s and City of Palo Alto’s parklet requirements to City Council for consideration and require the two existing parklets to comply. D. Bracco made an amendment to the motion to only send City of Campbell’s parklet requirements to City Council for consideration and require the two existing parklets to comply. Majority approved, motion passed. 8. Next Meeting Date The Committee will meet on Tuesday, January 14 at 8:00 AM at the Council Chambers. 9. Adjournment Chair Marques adjourned the meeting at 9:00 AM
