VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS: CONTIUNUED FROM THE APRIL 3, 2008 PC MEETING
A. Z 07-01 B Zone Change approval to change the zoning of approximately 9.97 acres from PF (Public
Facility) to R3-PUD (Medium Density Residential-Planned Unit Development), located at 8450 Wren
Avenue (Old Las Animas School Site). GUSD [c/o Rob Mendiola], applicant.
1. Action: Motion to continue to the June 5, 2008 PC meeting.
B. TM 07-08 Tentative Map approval to create a 72 residential lot subdivision located at 8450 Wren
Avenue, on property zoned PF (Public Facility), proposed zoning R3-PUD) (Old Las Animas School Site)
GUSD [c/o Rob Mendiola], applicant.
1. Action: Motion to continue to the June 5, 2008 PC meeting.
C. A/S-PUD 07-32 Arch & Site review to approve the construction of seventy two (72) homes located
at 8450 Wren Avenue, on property zoned PF (Public Facility) (proposed zoning to R3-PUD). GUSD [c/o
Rob Mendiola], applicant.
1. Action: Motion to continue to the June 5, 2008 PC meeting.
VII. OLD BUSINESS: CONTIUNUED FROM THE APRIL 3, 2008 PC MEETING
D. Discussion regarding the Planning Commissioner Representative for the HAC (Housing Advisory
Committee).
1. Action: Appoint a Planning Commissioner Representative to the HAC (Housing Advisory
Committee).
E. Discussion of creating a policy to regulate the manner in which new buildings are built next to
adjacent properties and the way they may block sunlight obtained by side windows.
1. Action: Forward a recommendation to the City Council to have them prioritize this work for the
coming year.
