A. Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan Amendment for Addition of Community Development
Block Grant Funds for an Improvement Project at San Ysidro Park
Motion to Approve Amend the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016-2017 Annual Action Plan to add $250,000 in
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for a park lighting and trail project at San Ysidro
Park. Moved by Council Member Peter Leroe-Munoz, seconded by Council Member Cat Tucker.
IX. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Adoption of an ordinance approving a zone change request (Z 16-06) to amend an approved
planned development removing the transitional housing restriction for the Sobrato Apartment Project
Located at 9369 Monterey Road, Applicant Eden Housing (introduced 1/9/17 with a 7-0 vote)
Motion to Approve Adoption of Ordinance 2017-02 of the City Council of the City of Gilroy approving
zone change Z 16-06 amending the Sobrato Apartment project planned development by replacing
the transitional housing restriction, including a length-of-tenancy limit with permanent supporting
housing for 45 apartment units located at 9369 Monterey Road, Application filed by Eden Housing,
c/o Elizabeth Kuwada Moved by Council Member Daniel Harney, seconded by Council Member Fred
Tovar.
Adoption of an ordinance approving a zone change request (Z 16-06) to amend an approved planned
development removing the transitional housing restriction for the Sobrato Apartment Project Located
at 9369 Monterey Road, Applicant Eden Housing
Motion to Approve Direction to staff to monitor compliance with the conditions of approval at six
month intervals during the first three years of the regulatory agreement and to monitor compliance
annually after the conclusion of the three-year period. Report in one year after 2 reports Moved by
Council Member Peter Leroe-Munoz, seconded by Council Member Cat Tucker.
B. Annual Appointments to City Boards, Commissions and Committees With Seats Vacant or Expired
as of December 31, 2016
Motion to Approve Appoint Members to Boards, Commissions and Committees with seats vacant or
expired as of December 31, 2016. Moved by Council Member Cat Tucker, seconded by Council
Member Peter Leroe-Munoz.
