II. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. High Speed Rail Options;Objective: The City will provide a briefing of the station area options
B. City Growth - Urban Growth Boundary Initiative and General Plan Process: Objective: The City will
update the District on the Urban Growth Boundary Initiative and General Plan Process
C. GUSD Enrollment Projections: Objective: District staff will provide an update about 5 year
enrollment projections for the school district
D. GUSD Facilities Projects and New Elementary School: Objective: District staff will provide an
update regarding GUSD's facilities projects and plans to build a new elementary school
E. Status of the 10th Street Bridge: City staff will provide a written update of this project that is
currently under design
F. Community Development Activities Update: City staff will provide a written update on development
activities in the City
G. City News: Objective: City Council Members will share news about the City
H. GUSD News: Objective: GUSD Board Members will share news about the School District
I. Future Agenda Items: Objective: Participants will identify potential agenda items for the next joint
meeting
K. ADJOURNMENT
