Consideration of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Gilroy Adding Article 54 to Chapter 30 of the Gilroy City Code Pertaining to the Ministerial Approval of Accessory Dwelling Units, and Amending City Code Sections 30.2.20, 30.4.10, 30.4.20, 30.5.40, 30.11.10, 30.31.21, 30.39.10, and 30.39.30 (Z 17-06) Ministerial Approval of Accessory Dwelling Units Motion to Approve Provide direction to staff to prepare an ordinance as recommended by staff at 600 feet with one of the units owner-occupied. Moved by Mayor Pro Tempore Dion Bracco, seconded by Council Member Daniel Harney. IX. UNFINISHED BUSINESS A. Proposed Neighborhood Traffic Calming Policy Framework Traffic Calming Policy Motion to Approve Provide direction to staff to start with a clear process and include hillsides and evaluate citizen or VIP utilizing radar. Moved by Council Member Cat Tucker, seconded by Council Member Peter Leroe-Munoz. X. INTRODUCTION OF NEW BUSINESS A. Approval of a Performance Agreement for the Seismic Retrofit of Unreinforced Masonry Buildings (URM) and the Correction of Code Violations at 7525 and 7517 Monterey Street, APN: 799-06-069 7525 and 7517 Monterey Street Motion to Approve Authorize the City Administrator to enter into a performance agreement with Akshar LLC c/o Sunil Patel, Amit Patel, rescinding delinquent administrative penalties and allowing for seismic retrofitting and the correction of code violations at 7525 & 7517 Monterey Street. Moved by Council Member Cat Tucker, seconded by Mayor Pro Tempore Dion Bracco. B. Consideration of Residential Development Ordinance (RDO) Interim Exemption Extension for Twenty-Four Months to Allow Time to Re-Evaluate the RDO after Completion of the General Plan Residential Development Ordinance Motion to Approve To not adopt of the resolution, and allow projects that are currently deemed complete to continue through the RDO process. Moved by Council Member Cat Tucker, seconded by Mayor Pro Tempore Dion Bracco. C. Approval of an Agreement Modifying the Existing Housing Trust Fund Rehabilitation Loan for the Redwoods and Wheeler Manor Apartments Held by Eden Housing 11/14/24, 8:49 AM 2017/11/06 06:00 PM City Council Regular Meeting - Web Outline - City of Gilroy, CA gilroyca.iqm2.com/Citizens/Detail_Meeting.aspx?ID=1030&Print=Yes 2/3 Existing Housing Trust Fund Rehabilitation Motion to Approve Authorize the City Administrator to enter into an agreement modifying the existing Housing Trust Fund rehabilitation loans for The Redwoods and Wheeler Manor Apartments held by Eden Housing, Inc. Moved by Council Member Daniel Harney, seconded by Council Member Fred Tovar. D. Presentation of General Fund Revenue Options General Fund Revenue Motion to Approve Provide direction to staff to research the and return to Council with the consideration of 1/4% sales tax measure dedicated for Public Safety, conduct additional research, time line, evaluate the term of the tax and all relevant information.
