If accepting it, I believe it will lock in our city to greatly increase congestion on our roads and streets; under the ruse of protecting bikers and pedestrians. Al., On tonight’s city council’s agenda is an item on the consent calendar 6.1. “Authorize the City Administrator to Execute the Grant Agreement under the Fiscal Year 2024 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant. It was former Director of Public Works Heba El-Guindy who wrote and submitted the grant and when it was approved, she proudly reported it to City Administrator Jimmi Forbis who immediately responded saying “you write too many grants” in a annoyed manner.
