Motion to Approve the minutes of November 4, 2010. Moved by Commissioner Ermelindo Puente,
seconded by Commissioner Brad Bannister.
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. RDO-HE 10-03 Residential Development Housing Exemption to request the allocation of 41-
residential units under Zoning Ordinance Section 50.62 (b) (11), on property zoned R1 (Single Family
Residential), located south of Sprig Way, between Rodeo Drive and Santa Teresa Boulevard. DeNova
Homes c/o Skip Spiering, applicant.
Item V.A. - RDO-HE 10-03
Motion to recommend City Council approve RDO-HE 10-03 with the one condition as in the staff
report. Moved by Commissioner Thomas Boe, seconded by Commissioner Brad Bannister.
Motion to recommend that the City Council return thirty-nine units to the RDO competition pool.

B. CUP 10-02 Conditional Use Permit request to allow the expansion of a non-conforming use up to 25
percent, on property zoned CM (Commercial Industrial), located at 7250 Alexander Street. Jenny

Motion to Approve resolution 2010-11 approving CUP 10-02 including conditions as written in the
staff report. Moved by Commissioner Thomas Boe, seconded by Commissioner Ermelindo Puente.
VI. OLD BUSINESS
A. AS 09-12 Architectural and Site amendment to request the removal of the condition to install an
awning along the front of the Cielito Lindo restaurant, for property zoned DHD (Downtown Historic
District), located at 7460 Monterey Street. Griselda Avila, applicant.

Motion to Approve amendment to approved resolution 2009-12 modify the request to remove to a
deferral of the time requirement and condition to install with the continued requirement to install an
awning along the front of Cielito Lindo Restaurant property zoned DHD located at 7460 Monterey
Street.
