A. Z 09-02 Zone Change Text Amendment to the City of Gilroy's Zoning Ordinance Sections 50 and 51
to increase the minimum 300 foot radius to 500 feet and to add specific public notice requirements for
new projects received. City of Gilroy [c/o Wendie Rooney], applicant.
2. Action: Motion to forward a recommendation of approval/modification to the City Council or to
deny Z 09-02
B. CUP 08-11 Conditional Use Permit approval to allow the operation of a daycare center at an existing
Church, located at 8455 Wren Avenue, on property zoned R1 (Single Family Residential). First Baptist
Church [c/o Bob Clark], applicant.
2. Action: Motion to prepare resolution 2009-02 approving or denying CUP 08-11
C. GPA 08-04 General Plan Amendment approval to amend the General Plan Map to change 35 +/-
acres located east of Santa Teresa, between Thomas Road and Mesa Road, from OS (Open Space) to
ND (Neighborhood District). City of Gilroy and Ken Kerley [c/o Melissa Durkin], applicant.
2. Action: Motion to forward a recommendation of approval/denial/modification of GPA 08-04 to the
City Council.
