A. GPA 07-05 General Plan Amendment to the text of the Hecker Pass Specific Plan to allow residential
development within the area currently designated "Community Facilities" district. South Valley

B. CUP 09-01 Conditional Use Permit to allow (4) four temporary auto sales on April 16-20; June 18-
22; August 20-24 and October 15-19, 2009, located at 6715 Camino Arroyo (Gilroy Crossing Shopping
Center), on property zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development).Gilroy Chevrolet/Cadillac [c/o John
Kakacek], applicant.
Motion to Approve Motion to direct staff to prepare Resolution 2009-03 which should include staff’s
definition of "substantially different" in the conditions of approval and clarification of the days during
which the sale could occur. Moved by Commission Vice Chair Art Barron Sr., seconded by Planning
Commissioner Ben Anderson.

VIII. NEW BUSINESS
A. AS 08-22 (a), Architectural & Site request to redevelop a historic un-reinforced masonry building
and complete demolish & reconstruction of the adjoining building, on property zoned DHD (Downtown
Historic District) located at 7451 & 7453 Monterey Street.Michael Gaeta, applicant.
Motion to Approve AS 08-22 (a) with the attached conditions of approval. Moved by Planning
Commissioner Ben Anderson, seconded by Planning Commissioner Joan Spencer.
