Motion to Approve the minutes as written. Moved by Planning Commissioner Ermelindo Puente,
seconded by Commission Vice Chair Art Barron Sr..
IV. PRESENTATION BY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC: (Three-minute time limit).
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. V 09-01 Variance request from Zoning Ordinance section 19.23 (b) to allow reduced side-yard
setback on property zoned GD (Gateway District) located at 6620 Monterey Road. Hydroturf [c/o Jack
Aliotti], applicant.
Motion to Approve preparing resolution 2009-05 approving variance V 09-01 as written with the four
conditions of approval as identified by staff and with the omission of the last sentence of condition D.
Moved by Commission Vice Chair Art Barron Sr., seconded by Planning Commissioner Ermelindo
Puente.
VI. OLD BUSINESS:(Continued from the June 4, 2009 meeting)
A. Discussion regarding possibly changing the Planning Commission meeting time from 6:00 PM to
6:30 PM.
B. M 09-03 Continued Discussion regarding potential amendments to sections 4 thru 11 of the Zoning
Ordinance, addressing Agricultural and Residential land uses.
