RESOLUTION NO. 2025-05
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GILROY FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 IN THE OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY
FUND AND APPROPRIATING PROPOSED EXPENDITURE
AMENDEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, and the City Council carefully
examined, considered and adopted the same on June 5, 2023; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for the City of Gilroy in the staff report
dated February 24, 2025, for the Office of Traffic Safety Fund, appropriating funding received
from the Office of Traffic Safety; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same and is
satisfied with said budget amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that revenue and expenditure
appropriations in the Office of Traffic Safety Fund, Fund 223, is hereby increased by $15,000 for
Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
