Mayor and City Council Members:
I am a resident of Gilroy and live on the east side of 10th Street. I have reviewed both the
Publicly Submitted Maps as well as the Council approved draft maps posted to the Transition
to District-Based Elections | Gilroy, CA - Official Website.
Additionally, I have reviewed the requirements of the FAIR MAPS Act and the Federal Voting
Rights Act requirements to base my map preferences. For your consideration, advocacy, and
support, I offer my preferences:
PRIMARY: Draft Map D: JH05 Modified
ALTERNATE: Draft Map A
I look forward to your and the community's continued involvement throughout this iterative
process.
